The course provides a broad yet comprehensive introduction to the subject of risk management. It explores both the positive and negative aspects of risk and aims to provide those attending with improved knowledge and practical skills in the identification, assessment and control of business risk.
The course covers, in detail, the development of Risk Registers and provides the opportunity to discuss with other managers and practitioners their approach to risk management and practical solutions for embedding a strong risk aware and risk managed culture.
The ‘Essentials of Enterprise Risk Management’ training programme has been accredited by the Institute of Risk Management (IRM) and successful completion of the course will result in the award of a certificate endorsed by the IRM and attracts 20 CPD points on the IRM scheme.
