This 1-day workshop uses the International Standard ISO31010:2009 Risk Management - Risk Assessment Techniques to help explore some of the key concepts relating to the selection and application of systematic techniques for risk assessment.
Through the use of informative instruction, group discussion and practical exercises those attending will gain an appreciation of the application of a number of different risk assessment techniques including:
- Risk Matrices
- Risk Bow Ties
- Monte Carlo Simulations
- Fault Tree and Event Tree Analysis
- SWIFT and Hazard and Operability Studies (HAZOPS)

The training has been accredited by the Institute of Risk Management and will result in the award of a certificate endorsed by the IRM.
Courses are not residential. If accommodation is required this must be arranged by the delegate. Information on hotels in the vicinity of the training course will be provided on request.
On receipt of your booking instructions an invoice will be sent to you. Payment can be made by cheque or by electronic transfer only. We cannot accept credit-card payments or cash.
Invoices will be raised in pounds sterling (GBP). Any bank charges associated with electronic transfers and currency conversions must be met by you.
Payment must be received in full prior to the commencement of the course.
The following course cancellation/transfer charges apply:
less than 7 days – no refund
7–15 days – 50% refund
more than 15 days – 90% refund
Whilst every effort will be made to keep to the dates and venues specified, we reserve the right to cancel or re-schedule an event or change its venue
